I love when two great people get together - and no surprise these are two of my favourite's Sarah Russell, from Bellwether, X, The Moonshot Factory is back in the hot seat this week InsTech Matthew Grant after an exceptional new conference Matthew launched, Exponential Risk in London a few weeks back!.

I see this more and more, no AI skills, out of my comfort zone, yet in a few hours - you are able to create something magical. This from Peter Gostev, head of AI from Moonpig and I think really impressive. (I still can't get your jingle out of my head!)
Of course, there are tools/platforms/solutions for this too - it will only get easier. I saw this from Argil (YC S24)too - super impressive! See the write up here from Co-Founder Laodis Menard and watch the video below. Create an AI clone in 2 mins! It's pretty impressive!
And indeed bravo to this! A little bit of joy from a Window company! This caught my attention, thanks Dr. Marcus Collins when it comes to storytelling and emotions. (one for you Jeremy Connell-Waite) Are you selling a product or finding something that get the job done!
If like me, Twitter was a huge part of your last decade, then this is a great documentary from CNN with lots of insights from Ev Williams, former CEO and Co founder of Twitter. Twitter, Breaking the Bird! Well worth the watch. I learned so much from this platform, met so many people around the world, watched InsurTech grow up here. I have a lot to be grateful for and I'm sad its not what it used to be. Trailer below, full documentary is 75mins and on BBC iPlayer and YouTube.
An a final bit of inspiration. I love sport, I love the mindset of athlete’s I love taking part and I love the spirit it brings out in the fans. These last 12 seconds at the recent Chicago Bulls game is insane! It’s like something from a movie! Enjoy never give up

My good friend Tilia Gode over at Waymo shared this (written by Timothy Lee), but a great view examining their safety record. After 50 million miles, Waymo's crash a lot less than human drivers. I know we have a bet Matteo Carbone, but I'm still upbeat. Either way, a great insight here!
Over the same 44 million miles, Waymo estimates that human drivers would get into 190 crashes serious enough to cause an injury. Instead, Waymo only got in 36 injury-causing crashes across San Francisco or Phoenix. That’s an 81 percent reduction in injury-causing crashes.
Tarrif's where all the news this week, whether you are pro or against them, it's been fascinating to see the markets and different countries reaction. The good news is, you can still celebrate with Champagne. How champagne makers beat Trump’s tariffs.
Just not Range Rovers with US shipments now on pause!
But that got me thinking more Insurance, what does it mean to us. Alex Bertolotti, Head of Insurance at PwC said introducing these tariffs “will impact claims costs for insurers”, resulting in pressures “to pass at least some of these costs on to customers”. Especially as London writes just under 10 per cent of all global speciality business.
Tom Parrott at Howden adds
that few corporate treasurers would have anticipated this in their 2025-2026 financial planning.
Emma Ann Hughes at Insurance Post also had a good write up here (paywall) while AM Best share more on how Tarrif's will negatively affect insurance, especially with trading partners in the US, Canada and Mexico as we rebuild after recent natural disasters or look to bring parts together from Global Supply chains, e.g. the wide ranging 25% across automotive. (note classic cars seem to be excluded!)
Speaking of Global Supply chain, none more so enabled by the Aviation space. What does this mean for Boeing and Airbus. Bloomberg's Guy Johnson had a quick take here which is fascinating. Don't just think build, think repair and servicing too.
And finally, another one for ServiceNow as we announced our proposed acquisition of Logik.ai to boost our CRM offering, super exciting and as you hear me say a lot - not slowing down anytime soon!.
